The Siemens 3RB1066-1GG0 is a solid-state overload relay from the 3RB10 series, rated 55–250 A with Class 10.MOD.S10/S12 trip characteristics. It includes mounting rails for direct attachment to a 3RT106 contactor or for separate DIN-rail mounting in the panel.
Trip class and current range
Class 10 means the relay trips within 10 seconds at 7.2× the full-load current setting — the standard for protecting standard squirrel-cage induction motors during start-up. The 55–250 A adjustable range covers medium-frame motors up to roughly 132 kW at 400 V.
Mounting and panel integration
Supplied with mounting rails for contactor mounting on a 3RT106 contactor or for separate mounting on a DIN rail. The solid-state design eliminates the mechanical wear of bimetallic relays and allows the relay to be mounted in any orientation without derating.
