The Siemens SIRIUS 3RB2026-2QB0-ZX95 is a solid-state overload relay, part of the SIRIUS modular system.
Trip Class 20E is the headline rating: it allows the relay to ride through normal starting inrush (up to 20 seconds at 7.2× FLA) without nuisance tripping, but still protects the motor against sustained overloads. The relay mounts directly onto a contactor (fastening method: contactor mounting), saving DIN-rail space in a crowded panel. Surge voltage resistance rated at 6 kV and burst immunity at 2 kV on power ports (severity 3 per IEC 61000-4-4) mean it holds up in electrically noisy panels with contactors and drives nearby.
Where it's deployed
This relay is sized for a motor branch circuit inside a control panel. It snaps onto a contactor (typically a SIRIUS 3RT2 series) and connects via screw terminals — solid/stranded 0.5 to 4 mm² per pole, or 2× 0.5 to 2.5 mm². ATEX certification Ex II (2) GD allows use in potentially explosive atmospheres (Zone 2 gas, Zone 22 dust) when paired with an appropriate contactor and upstream protection.
