Solid-state overload relay for motor protection
The Siemens 3RB2035-1UW1 is a SIRIUS solid-state overload relay with a CLASS 10E trip class. Mounts stand-alone (not on a contactor base) with any mounting position, and the front face is IP20 — safe for finger contact inside an enclosure.
Auxiliary contact ratings and wiring
The auxiliary contacts are rated for switching at multiple control voltages: 2 A at 24 V, 0.55 A at 60 V, 0.3 A at 110 V, 4 A at 120 V, 0.3 A at 125 V, 0.11 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 230 V — covering most PLC and relay logic inputs. Wire sizes accepted: solid 0.5 to 4 mm² (2× 0.5 to 2.5 mm²) and finely stranded with ferrule 0.5 to 2.5 mm² (2× 0.5 to 1.5 mm²).
Environmental and EMC robustness
Operates from -25 to +60 °C, stores and transports from -40 to +80 °C, and withstands 100 % relative humidity — suitable for unconditioned enclosures in washdown or outdoor environments. Shock rated 15 g / 11 ms, and surge voltage resistance at 6 kV with burst immunity of 2 kV on power ports and 1 kV on signal ports per IEC 61000-4-4 severity 3 — so it holds up in industrial panels near contactors and drives.
