Solid-state overload relay for contactor mounting
The Siemens 3RB2036-2UD0 is a SIRIUS solid-state overload relay rated CLASS 20E. It mounts directly onto a contactor, saving DIN-rail space. The three-pole main current circuit uses screw-type terminals accepting 1 … 35 mm² stranded or 2 x (max. 25 mm²) stranded, while the auxiliary and control circuit uses spring-loaded terminals.
Environmental and electrical endurance
Operates from -25 to +60 °C and stores or transports at -40 to +80 °C, with 100 % relative humidity allowed during operation — no condensation limits given, so expect sealed enclosures in high-humidity areas. Shock resistance is 15g / 11 ms, adequate for machine-mounted installations. Surge voltage resistance rated 6 kV; burst immunity per IEC 61000-4-4 at 2 kV on power ports and 1 kV on signal ports (severity degree 3). The ATEX approval (PTB 06 ATEX 3001 Ex II (2) GD) permits use in Zone 2 gas and Zone 22 dust atmospheres when paired with appropriate contactors and enclosures.
