Solid-state overload relay for contactor-mount integration
Its 3-pole configuration and screw-type main terminals with spring-loaded auxiliary terminals make it a direct fit for panel layouts where a contactor and overload relay share a common rail — no separate base or DIN-rail adapter needed. The ATEX Ex II (2) GD certification qualifies it for explosive-gas and dust atmospheres where a thermal bimetal relay might not be permitted.
Trip class and protection envelope
The 8 kV surge voltage resistance and EMC burst immunity of 2 kV on power ports and 1 kV on signal ports, severity degree 3, cover the relay against switching transients in industrial control panels.
Mounting position is any, but the fastening method is contactor mounting — it clips directly onto the contactor's front face, not onto a DIN rail. Main circuit accepts stranded conductors 2x (10 … 50 mm²) or single 10 … 70 mm², with AWG equivalents 2x (10 … 1/0) or 1x (10 … 2/0). Auxiliary and control circuit uses spring-loaded terminals accepting 2x (0.25 … 1.5 mm²) solid or finely stranded with ferrule, AWG 2x (24 … 16).
