Key ratings and what they mean for your BOM
Rated for AC-3 duty up to 690 V maximum — that covers standard 400 V and 480 V motor circuits with headroom. The solid-state design means no moving contacts to wear out, and power dissipation is low: 0.05 W at AC in hot operating state, so it won't cook adjacent components in a dense panel. Terminals accept solid conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm², or 2x (0.5 to 2.5 mm²) — fine for standard motor leads up to about 4 mm². The screw-type main current circuit is familiar to any panel builder; no special tooling needed. Environmental range is -25 to +60 °C operating with 100 % relative humidity, so it's fine for non-condensing washdown areas. Shock resistance of 15g / 11 ms means it holds up on vibrating conveyor drives.
Compliance and approvals
Carries ATEX protection type PTB 06 ATEX 3001 Ex II (2) GD, so it's rated for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (Zone 2 gas, Zone 22 dust) when paired with an appropriate contactor. Surge voltage resistance is 6 kV, and burst immunity meets IEC 61000-4-4 severity level 3 — 2 kV on power ports, 1 kV on signal ports. That covers most industrial EMC environments without external filtering.
