Solid-state overload relay for motor protection
The Siemens 3RB2153-4FW2 is a SIRIUS solid-state overload relay in size S6, rated for 200 A operational current and adjustable trip classes from 5E to 30E. Thermal current rating of 200 A means it handles motor starting inrush up to 3.5× the upper current setting; the trip class adjustment lets you match the relay to the motor's start profile. Auxiliary contacts provide a dry signal for 'tripped' status.
Mounts directly on a contactor or as a stand-alone unit using the S6 frame; any mounting position allowed. Terminals accept 1x (0.5–4 mm²) or 2x (0.5–2.5 mm²) solid/stranded copper; proper torque ensures reliable connection for the 200 A circuit. Dimensions 120 mm wide, 119 mm high, 155 mm deep – fits standard panel layouts for size S6 motor starters.
