Mounting and wiring — contactor-fit checklist
The 3RB3016-1SB0: Fastening method is direct contactor mounting — the relay snaps onto the SIRIUS S00 contactor without extra DIN-rail space, saving width in the panel. A Pozidriv PZ2 tip and 5–6 mm shaft diameter are needed for the M3 main contacts.
The note "for message 'tripped'" indicates the auxiliary contact position changes only when the relay has actually tripped on overload — it does not follow the reset state or power loss, so the PLC sees a clean trip signal.
Environmental and mechanical ruggedness
Shock resistance is 15 g / 11 ms for the relay body; the signaling contact in the tripped position withstands 9 g / 11 ms per IEC 60068-2-27. Vibration resistance covers 1–6 Hz at 15 mm amplitude and 6–500 Hz at 20 m/s² for 10 cycles. Power dissipation per pole is 0.2 W — negligible heat load in the panel.
Sourcing and lifecycle — current production, quoted to order
Substance prohibitance date is 10/01/2009 — the relay complies with RoHS and REACH substance restrictions as of that date.
