The Siemens 3RB3016-2PB0 is a SIRIUS solid-state overload relay in Size S00, rated for CLASS 20E trip characteristics. It is designed for contactor mounting, protecting motor circuits up to 690 V and 4 A thermal current (at 480 V and 600 V rated value).
This solid-state relay uses an electronic overload release, not a bimetallic strip, so it offers better accuracy and temperature stability than thermal-style relays. The CLASS 20E trip curve means it allows up to 20 seconds of overload at 600% of the set current before tripping — suitable for standard induction motor starts with moderate inertia loads like pumps or fans.
