The Siemens 3RB3016-2TB0 is a SIRIUS solid-state overload relay, size S00, rated for 16 A thermal current (Ith) at up to 690 V. It's an electronic overload release with CLASS 20E trip characteristics — meaning it'll let a motor draw six times rated current for about 20 seconds before tripping, which is the standard curve for standard-start induction motors driving pumps, fans, or conveyors.
Mounts directly to a contactor — no DIN rail needed. The S00 frame size keeps it compact at 45 mm wide, 79 mm tall, and 73 mm deep. Terminals accept 1x (0.5 to 4 mm²) or 2x (0.5 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire. Screw terminals on the main circuit, Pozidriv PZ2 driver required.
Signaling and Auxiliary Contacts
