The Siemens SIRIUS 3RB3036-1WB0 is a solid-state overload relay in the S2 frame size, rated for 80 A thermal current at up to 690 V. It provides CLASS 10E tripping — meaning it will open the motor circuit within 10 seconds under a locked-rotor condition, protecting windings from thermal damage during start-up. The integrated auxiliary switch reports a "tripped" status message.
This relay mounts directly onto a contactor — no separate DIN-rail bracket needed, saving panel width. The S2 frame is 55 mm wide, 99 mm high, and 104 mm deep. Main circuit terminals accept solid or stranded wire: 1x (0.5–4 mm²) or 2x (0.5–2.5 mm²) for control, and up to 1x 50 mm² or 2x (10–35 mm²) stranded for the power loop. Screw terminals with Pozidriv PZ2 driver.
Shock resistance is 15g / 11 ms for the main contacts, 8g / 11 ms for the signaling contact in tripped position. Vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-27: 1–6 Hz at 15 mm amplitude, 6–500 Hz at 20 m/s², 10 cycles. RoHS compliance date is October 15, 2014.
