The Siemens 3RF3150-1AA06 is a 1-pole solid-state relay from the SIRIUS 3RF31 family, packing 50 A switching capacity into a 22.5 mm wide housing. It switches loads from 48 to 600 VAC, controlled by a 24 VDC input via screw terminals. That 50 A rating is the continuous current for resistive loads — for motor or transformer loads you derate per the AC-51/AC-53 curves, but the 22.5 mm width means it fits standard DIN-rail panels without crowding adjacent devices.
RoHS compliant since 15 January 2024. Export control is straightforward: AL=N, ECCN=N, no license required for standard industrial use.
Panel fit and handling
22.5 mm width on a DIN-rail footprint — snaps onto the rail, screw terminals for line and load. The 104 x 44 x 48 mm package leaves room for a finger-safe cover over the terminals. No forced-air cooling required at 50 A resistive, but if you're switching into a high-inrush load (lamp banks, transformers), check the I²t curve in the datasheet and allow a 10 mm air gap above and below for natural convection.
