The Siemens 3RF3150-3AA06 is a 1-pole SIRIUS 3RF31 solid-state relay in the 22.5 mm wide housing, rated for 50 A continuous at 48-600 VAC with a 24 VDC control voltage. The 50 A rating is the continuous load current the SSR can switch in a resistive or lightly inductive circuit at its rated voltage range — it is not a motor full-load current figure, so for motor loads you must size for the locked-rotor inrush and allow headroom. The ring cable lug connection means the power terminals accept ring-tongue crimp lugs, not bare wire or ferrules, so plan your wiring terminations accordingly.
Mounting and thermal management
This SSR is designed for mounting on available cooling surfaces — it does not have an integrated heatsink. The 22.5 mm DIN-rail footprint fits standard TS35 rail, but the 50 A rating requires bolting the backplate to a metallic panel or dedicated heatsink to dissipate the I²R losses. The packaging dimensions of 104 x 44 x 48 mm give the clearance needed above and below the rail for the ring-lug connections.
