What the 90 A rating means for fit
The 3RF3190-2AA22 is a SIRIUS 3RF31 single-pole solid-state relay rated for 90 A continuous, switching 24-230 V AC on the load side with a 110-230 V AC control supply. That 90 A figure is the current the SSR can handle when mounted to an adequate heat sink — the datasheet calls out 'for mounting on available cooling surfaces', meaning this is not a free-air part. In a panel, you plan for a dedicated heatsink or a metal backplate that draws heat away; otherwise derating kicks in fast. The 22.5 mm DIN-rail width keeps the panel density high — one module wide, same as a miniature circuit breaker. Spring-loaded terminals (no screw torque to check) accept solid or ferruled stranded up to the rated cross-section, which wires up clean and saves a few seconds per termination on a build.
