The Siemens 3RF3340-1BA24 is a SIRIUS 3RF33 series solid-state contactor, 1-pole, rated 20 A in AC-15 duty at 40 °C. AC-15 is the category for electromagnetic loads (contactors, solenoid valves) — the 20 A figure is the switching current for that inductive load class, not a resistive heating rating. At 40 °C ambient, it delivers that full 20 A without derating; above that, the internal semiconductor junction limits apply. The control supply accepts 110-230 V AC, and the main circuit handles 48-460 V AC. Switching is instantaneous (zero-cross or random-fire depending on the internal trigger circuit), so it suits on/off control of resistive or lightly inductive loads in a panel.
