The Siemens 3RF3340-3AA02 is a 1-pole SIRIUS 3RF33 solid-state contactor rated for 40 A in AC-1 duty at 40 °C ambient. The AC-1 rating covers resistive heating loads — lighting banks, oven elements, or transformer primaries — where inrush is minimal. The 40 A figure at 40 °C means it carries that current continuously without derating up to that ambient; above 40 °C you follow the thermal derating curve in the datasheet. Control voltage accepts 24-230 V AC or 24 V DC, giving flexibility across panel designs without swapping coils. The ring cable lug connection suits permanent wiring in a panel — no screw terminals to torque, just crimp and bolt.
