What the AC-15 25 A rating means for your load

AC-15 is the switching category for electromagnetic loads — solenoids, contactor coils, clutches, brakes — where the inrush can hit several times the holding current. If your load is a motor or resistive heater, the AC-15 curve isn't the right one; this part is sized for inductive control circuits.
