What the 65 A AC-1 rating means for your load
The 3RF3365-3AA24 is a 1-pole SIRIUS 3RF33 solid-state contactor rated 65 A in AC-1 duty at 40 °C, meaning it switches resistive or lightly inductive loads up to that current without derating. For motor loads, the AC-3 rating will be lower — the AC-1 figure is the thermal continuous current the semiconductor can carry, not the starting inrush a motor draws. The control supply accepts 48-460 V / 110-230 V AC, so it fits panels with either line-voltage or transformer-isolated control circuits. Termination is via ring cable lug, which suits permanent wiring in a fixed panel rather than plug-in bases.
Compliance and regulatory documentation
RoHS compliance is declared effective 15 January 2024. These declarations support quality-doc-control filing for equipment destined for EU or UK markets.
Packaged dimensions are 105 x 50 x 125 mm, so it occupies a standard contactor footprint on DIN rail. The ring cable lug termination requires a screwdriver for the clamping screw — no push-in spring termination here. Allow clearance above and below for heat dissipation from the solid-state output stage; the 65 A AC-1 rating assumes free air at 40 °C, not enclosed in a sealed gland plate.
