The Siemens 3RG4011-0CC05 is an 8 mm barrel inductive proximity sensor from the 3RG4 series, flush-mountable with a 1.5 mm sensing distance. It switches PNP, normally-open plus normally-closed, and runs on 10–30 V DC. The 2 m cable and IP67 rating suit it for washdown zones on packaging or material-handling lines — the housing is stainless steel, so it holds up in wet or mildly corrosive environments.
Flush-mount into an 8 mm hole — the supplied lock nuts secure it. The stainless barrel and IP67 seal mean it survives washdown cycles without potting issues. PNP output with complementary NO/NC gives flexibility for fail-safe wiring: use the NC leg for a break-wire detection loop. The 50 mA switching current covers direct PLC inputs; no relay interposer needed.
