The Siemens 3RG4012-0AG01 is an M12 inductive proximity sensor in a metal barrel, with a flush-mounted sensing face rated for 2 mm detection of ferrous targets. The 2 mm sensing range is the rated operating distance for a standard steel target at 25 °C, flush-mounted in steel.
