The relay outputs switch DC loads up to 1 A (DC-13 at 24 V) or 0.5 A (DC-13 at 24 V) depending on the load type, with a total aggregate current of 2 A across all outputs.
External 24V AUX required — relay hold state on comms loss
The module requires an external auxiliary power supply (AUX POWER) of 20 to 30 V DC, compliant with VDE 0106 (PELV), protection class III, to energize the output circuits. This supply connects via an M12 connector. During a communication failure on the AS-Interface bus, the relay outputs remain in their current switching state — no drop-out, no default. This behavior is critical for fail-safe applications where outputs must hold position rather than revert to a safe-off state.
Mounting and connectivity — DIN rail or wall, M12 screw terminals
The I/O connections use M12 screw-type terminals (4 sockets for outputs D0–D3), with contact pins on the FK or Pg coupling module for the AS-Interface bus.
