What the 4 DI means for an AS-i drop
The Siemens 3RG9001-0AG00 is a 4-input AS-Interface user module — four PNP digital inputs, zero outputs, drawing up to 250 mA from the AS-i bus. The 20-30 VDC input range and 10 V high-level threshold mean it accepts standard 24 V sensor signals without a separate field supply. With the AS-i protocol on the bus, the module ID code is 0, so the master identifies it as a standard 4-input slave.
IP67 field deployment and wiring
Rated IP67, the module is built for direct machine-mount installation — no enclosure needed on the line. The four M12 screw-terminated sockets (D0–D3) accept 2- or 3-wire sensors. Mounts via standard rail or wall-mount using the coupling module; dimensions are 45 x 80 x 27 mm (W/H/D).
