The Siemens 3RG9001-0AJ00 is an AS-Interface digital I/O module configured as 2 x (1 input / 1 output), giving you two input channels and two transistor outputs in a single IP67 housing. It runs on 20-30V DC from the yellow AS-Interface cable and draws up to 270 mA from the bus total — the outputs themselves are limited to 0.2 A aggregate. The module is designed for field mounting — standard rail or wall mount via a coupling module — and carries IP67 protection, so it can sit directly on a conveyor or machine frame in washdown areas without a separate enclosure. The yellow LED shows AS-Interface bus status; the I/O LEDs are green.
The module uses standard yellow AS-Interface cable — it does not require the black cable variant, which simplifies stocking if your plant runs mixed AS-i segments.
