Field module with 4 PNP outputs
The Siemens 3RG9001-0CB00 is an AS-Interface digital output module rated for field deployment at IP67. It provides 4 PNP transistor outputs with a total aggregate current of 2 A, each channel rated 1 A. The output circuits require an external auxiliary supply (AUX POWER) of 20 to 30 V DC compliant with VDE 0106 (PELV), protection class III — this is not powered from the AS-Interface yellow cable alone. Connections use M12 screw-type terminals; the module mounts on standard rail or wall via the coupling module. Dimensions are 45 x 80 x 27 mm (W x H x D).

AS-Interface integration constraints
The module supports the AS-Interface protocol and draws up to 60 mA from the AS-Interface bus for its own logic. Operating voltage per AS-Interface specification is 26.5 to 31.6 V DC. Built-in short-circuit and induction protection are standard. The I/O configuration is set to 8, with 4 output sockets (D0–D3) and ID code 0. Output status is indicated by yellow LEDs per channel; a green LED shows AS-Interface communication and diagnostics.
