The Siemens 3RG9002-0DB00 is an AS-Interface slave module providing 4 digital inputs (PNP, 2- and 3-conductor) and 4 solid-state digital outputs, all in a compact F90 housing for control-cabinet mounting on 35 mm standard DIN rail. The module draws its internal power from the AS-Interface bus (max 270 mA total input), while the output circuits require a separate 24 V DC auxiliary supply (20–30 V DC, PELV per VDE 0106) connected via screw terminals. Built-in watchdog, induction protection, and short-circuit protection mean the module handles diagnostics and fault isolation without external components — the green/red dual LED reports AS-Interface communication status, and yellow LEDs show each I/O state.
