4 I/O on a DIN-rail slice
The Siemens 3RG9002-0DC00 is an F90-format AS-Interface module packing four floating PNP inputs and four floating solid-state outputs in a 90 mm wide housing that snaps onto 35 mm standard rail. Total output current across all four channels is 6 A, fed from an external 24 VDC PELV supply (20–30 VDC range) brought in through screw terminals. Each input channel sinks 5 mA minimum at the high-level threshold of 10 VDC, and each output switches DC loads. The module draws up to 30 mA from the AS-Interface bus for its own logic; the output power comes entirely from the auxiliary supply.
EOL — sourcing the last runs
This module is end-of-life (EOL) per the manufacturer's lifecycle record. The built-in watchdog, short-circuit protection on the sensor supply, and induction suppression on the outputs are all integrated — no external clamp diodes needed. Yellow LEDs on each I/O point give quick status at the cabinet door.
Addressing and integration
Addressing is done through the integrated addressing socket on the module face — no DIP switches to flip. The factory ID/ID2 code is 0/F. The module operates as a standard AS-Interface slave and supports 2- and 3-wire PNP sensors. IP20 rated, so it lives inside a control cabinet. The green/red dual LED on the AS-Interface side reports bus communication and diagnostics.
