DIN-rail I/O slice with external aux power
The 3RG9004-0DB00: It requires an external auxiliary supply of 20 to 30 V DC (PELV, protection class III) to power the output circuits — the AS-Interface cable alone does not carry enough current for the 4 A total output current.
End-of-life — source while available
This module is classified end-of-life (EOL). Availability is limited to existing stock and surplus channels. Confirm your BOM quantity and request a quote — pricing and lead time are confirmed at the time of the RFQ.
4 inputs, 4 outputs, 4 A total
The four PNP inputs sink 5 mA minimum at signal <1> and draw under 1.5 mA at signal <0>, with a high-level threshold of 10 V minimum. The four solid-state outputs share a total current capacity of 4 A, with built-in short-circuit and induction protection. The module draws up to 270 mA from the AS-Interface bus for its own logic and sensor supply — the external 24 V DC supply handles the output load.
Addressing and diagnostics
Addressing is done via the integrated addressing socket using a standard AS-Interface handheld programmer. The ID/ID2 code is set to 0/F. I/O status is shown by yellow LEDs; AS-Interface communication and diagnostics are indicated by a green/red dual LED. A built-in watchdog monitors the bus communication.
