What it is and what it does
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RH1122-1AP00-ZX95 is an auxiliary contactor in the S00 frame size — the smallest footprint in the SIRIUS contactor family, at 45 mm wide. It provides 2 normally-open and 2 normally-closed instantaneous contacts (no delayed or leading/lagging switching), used to extend the control-circuit signaling of a main contactor or to build interlock logic in a motor control center. Rated for AC-12 duty (resistive loads in control circuits), it switches 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 1 A at 690 V. These ratings cover the typical signal-level loads found in PLC output cards, relay coils, and indicator lamps — not motor starting.
Mounting and integration
Mounts via screw or snap-on to a DIN rail. The 45 mm width matches the S00 contactor footprint. Terminals accept solid conductors: 2× (0.5–1.5 mm²), 2× (0.75–2.5 mm²), or 2× 4 mm². The IP20 front protection means it's safe for open-panel wiring as long as the enclosure door is closed — standard for control cabinets.
Environmental and lifecycle
Rated for operation from -25 to +60 °C and storage/transport from -55 to +80 °C. Shock resistance is 10g / 5 ms and 5g / 10 ms — enough for conveyor and machine-tool applications where vibration is present. Pollution degree 3 means it's suited for industrial environments with conductive dust or occasional condensation.
