Auxiliary Contactor for Control Circuits
Siemens SIRIUS 3RH1122-1BB40 is a size S00 auxiliary contactor with a 24 V DC coil, rated for 10 A at 24 V. It provides four contacts: two instantaneous NO and two NC, with no delayed, lagging, or make-before-break switching. Mechanical life is rated at 30 million operations, and the coil draws 3.2 W DC holding power — useful for heat calculations in a tight panel. The contactor is designed for auxiliary switching in motor control centers, conveyor interlocks, and lighting control where a separate contactor handles the motor load. Its contact reliability — one incorrect switching per 100 million operations at 17 V, 1 mA — makes it suitable for low-signal PLC input circuits as well.
Mounting & Wiring
Mounts via screw and snap-on to a mounting plate or DIN rail. Accepts conductors up to 4 mm² per terminal, with two terminals per clamp for looping. Depth is 72 mm, width 45 mm. Mounting position allows ±180° rotation and ±22.5° tilt on vertical surfaces. Degree of pollution 3 rated, so suitable for industrial environments without additional enclosures. IP20 front protection means finger-safe when installed in a panel.
