What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3RH1122-1TP00-0KV0 is a SIRIUS auxiliary contactor in the size S00 frame, designed to switch control circuits rather than motor loads directly. It provides 2 normally open instantaneous contacts rated at 10 A at 24 V, making it suitable for extending the I/O of a main contactor or for interlocking sequences in a control panel.
Mounting and integration
Mounts via screw or snap-on to DIN rail, occupying 45 mm width on the rail. The mounting position is flexible — the contactor can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface and tilted ±22.5° forward or backward, which helps when routing wires in a dense panel. The solid conductor capacity accepts 2x 0.5 to 1.5 mm², 2x 0.75 to 2.5 mm², or 2x 4 mm², covering typical control wiring sizes.
Environmental and electrical ratings
Operates from -25 °C to +60 °C, with storage and transport range of -55 °C to +80 °C. Shock resistance is rated at 10g for 5 ms and 5g for 10 ms. The coil includes a built-in varistor for surge suppression, reducing back-EMF when de-energized. Rated operational current at 24 V is 10 A, derating to 6 A at 230 V AC and 3 A at 400 V AC. The front face carries IP20 protection; side clearance is 0 mm for flush mounting.
