It carries 2 instantaneous normally-open contacts, each rated 10 A in AC-12 duty at 24 V. That AC-12 rating means the contacts are specified for resistive loads at control-circuit voltages — the typical use is switching PLC outputs, pilot lights, or solenoid valves inside a cabinet, not motor starting. The built-in varistor surge suppressor clips the inductive kickback from the coil when de-energized — no external flyback diode needed across the DC coil terminals. That saves a wiring step and keeps the panel layout cleaner.
Mounting and integration into a panel
Mounts by screw or snap-on onto a DIN rail. The size S00 footprint is 45 mm wide, 57.5 mm tall, 72 mm deep — it occupies a single 45 mm slot on the rail, leaving room for adjacent contactors or terminal blocks. That helps when fitting into a tight gland-plate area or a swing-frame panel. Wire terminals accept solid conductors: 2x 0.5 to 1.5 mm², 2x 0.75 to 2.5 mm², or 2x 4 mm².
The contactor ships with the varistor integrated and the screw terminals ready for the wire sizes listed above.
