What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3RH1122-2AP00-0TK1 is a SIRIUS auxiliary contactor, size S00, designed to switch control and signal circuits in industrial panels. It carries a 10 A continuous rated current at 24 V, with a surge voltage resistance of 6 kV, and offers 2 instantaneous contacts (NO/NC configurable). The IP20 front protection means it's suitable for enclosed panel mounting where no washdown or dust ingress is expected.
Mounting and integration
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto a DIN rail. The 45 mm width and 60 mm height fit standard S00 contactor footprints; the 73 mm depth leaves clearance for wiring and auxiliary blocks. Accepts solid or stranded conductors from 0.25 to 2.5 mm² on the terminals. Mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward, giving flexibility in tight enclosures.
Environmental and compliance
Rated for operation from -25 to +60 °C, storage and transport from -55 to +80 °C. Shock resistance is 10g at 5 ms and 5g at 10 ms. Pollution degree 3 (industrial environment). RoHS compliance date is July 1, 2006, covering substance prohibitions. Contact reliability is rated at one incorrect switching operation per 100 million operations at 17 V, 1 mA.
