IP20 front protection resists finger contact but requires enclosure installation.
The contact ratings tell you the maximum current this contactor can safely switch at a given voltage. At 24 V it's rated 10 A, at 230 V it's 6 A, and at 400 V it's 3 A. These are thermal current ratings for the contacts themselves — the actual switching life depends on the load type (resistive vs. inductive) and the switching frequency. That's a poka-yoke built in for dry circuits.
Fastening is by screw and snap-on mounting to a DIN rail. Wire connections accept solid conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or 2x 4 mm². That covers most control wiring from signal-level to moderate power feeds. Depth is 72 mm, height 57.5 mm — check clearance behind the panel door.
Shock resistance is 10g / 5 ms and 5g / 10 ms. RoHS compliance date is July 1, 2006, covering substance prohibitions.
