Auxiliary contactor for control-circuit switching
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RH1131-1AN20 is an auxiliary contactor in size S00, carrying three normally-open (NO) instantaneous contacts rated 10 A at AC-12 (resistive load at 24 V). It is designed for switching control circuits — interlocks, signaling, and logic-level loads — in motor starter assemblies and distribution panels. The 45 mm width and screw-and-snap-on mounting let it land on standard DIN rail alongside its matching power contactor.
Contact ratings and switching capability
The 3 NO contacts are rated across the voltage band: 10 A at 24 V (AC-12), 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 1 A at 690 V. At 110 V DC the contacts are rated 1 A; at 220 V DC they drop to 0.27 A. These are the interrupting limits for the auxiliary circuit — not motor-load current. The contacts are instantaneous only; there are no leading, delayed, or lagging switching options on this variant.
Mounting and environmental limits
Mounts by screw or snap-on to DIN rail. The mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward — useful when panel layout forces a non-standard orientation. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C; storage and transport range is -55 to +80 °C. Pollution degree 3 (conductive pollution or dry non-conductive pollution that becomes conductive due to condensation) means it is suited for industrial control panels, not clean-room or climate-controlled spaces. Shock resistance is rated 10g / 5 ms and 5g / 10 ms. Maximum operating altitude is 2 000 m.
Wiring and enclosure protection
Terminals accept solid conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or 2x 4 mm². The front face carries IP20 protection (finger-safe), so the contactor can be installed in a panel with the cover open for commissioning without live-part exposure. Side clearances are 0 mm — no additional spacing needed between units on the rail.
