The Siemens SIRIUS 3RH1131-2BB40 is an auxiliary contactor in the S00 frame size, built for control-circuit switching in motor starter and contactor assemblies. Its 24 V DC coil draws 3.2 W for both closing and holding, so the power supply sizing is straightforward — no inrush spike to budget for. The 10 A rated value at 24 V covers most PLC output and relay interface loads; derate to 6 A at 230 V and 3 A at 400 V when switching higher line voltages. Three instantaneous NO contacts (no delayed or lagging switching) give you a clean set of mirror signals for feedback, interlock, or status indication back to the controller.
Panel integration and mounting
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto a DIN rail — the 45 mm width and 60 mm height fit the S00 footprint that shares a rail with matching contactors and overload relays. The mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward, so you can orient it to clear wiring ducts or gland plates. IP20 on the front means it's protected against solid objects larger than 12 mm; inside an enclosure with a door, that's standard. The spring-cage terminals accept 0.25 to 2.5 mm² solid or stranded wire — strip length around 8 mm for a clean seat under the clamp.
