The 3RH1140-2AF00-ZW95 is a Siemens SIRIUS auxiliary contactor — four normally-open instantaneous contacts in a size S00 frame. The 4 NO arrangement is typical for signaling multiple circuits — motor-run feedback, status lamps, or interlocking another starter.
The 4 NO instantaneous contacts switch without delay or lag — no make-before-break, no timed sequence. That means this contactor is for straight signal replication, not for sequencing two loads with a deliberate overlap. Size S00 is the smallest SIRIUS frame, 45 mm wide and 73 mm deep. It fits the same DIN-rail footprint as the 3RT1 contactors in that frame size, so swapping a main contactor for a different rating doesn't force a panel re-layout if the auxiliary block stays the same size. Contact reliability is specified as one incorrect switching operation per 100 million at 17 V, 1 mA — that's the dry-circuit threshold. If your PLC input card sinks less than 1 mA, the gold-flash contacts on some other blocks may be needed; this one is rated for conventional 24 VDC control signals.
IP20 on the front — finger-safe but not washdown-rated. Keep it inside a closed enclosure. Shock resistance of 10g / 5 ms and 5g / 10 ms covers normal panel vibration from contactors and relays cycling nearby. That flexibility helps when routing wires in a tight enclosure — you can orient the terminals toward the wireway.
