It provides two normally open instantaneous contacts for signalling, interlocking, or extending the auxiliary contact set of a larger contactor or starter assembly. It's built on the S00 frame size, which is the smallest in the SIRIUS contactor family, sized for control panels where panel depth is tight — the body is 45 mm wide, 57.5 mm tall, and 111 mm deep. Mounting is screw-fix or snap-on. IP20 front protection is safe for finger contact inside an enclosed panel.
Switching Capacity — What the Ratings Mean
The contact ratings tell you exactly what this contactor can handle at different control voltages. At 24 V it's rated for 10 A — that's the highest current it can switch in a DC control circuit. At 110 V the rating drops to 1 A, and at 220 V it's 0.27 A, reflecting the more difficult DC arc extinction at higher voltages. For AC control circuits at 230 V it's rated for 6 A, at 400 V for 3 A, and at 690 V for 1 A. These are the thermal current ratings for the auxiliary contacts — use them to size the load on each NO contact.
This auxiliary contactor is designed to snap alongside or underneath a SIRIUS S00 main contactor (like the 3RT1015 series) to add extra NO contacts for feedback, interlocking, or status indication. The same 45 mm width and screw/snap-on mounting means it shares the same DIN rail footprint. The terminal block accepts solid conductors from 0.5 mm² up to 4 mm², with dual-wire capability on the smaller sizes — 2x 0.5-1.5 mm² or 2x 0.75-2.5 mm². That's enough for daisy-chaining control wiring without extra junction blocks. Shock resistance is rated at 10g for 5 ms and 5g for 10 ms — sufficient for standard industrial panel vibration but not heavy mobile equipment.
That's typical for standard industrial control panels — no special derating needed for most factory-floor environments.
