Part identity and fit
It is designed for control-circuit switching in motor starter assemblies and general panel logic — it extends the contact count of a main contactor or acts as an interposing relay.
The contacts are rated 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V. These are thermal (AC-1) currents for resistive loads; for inductive or motor-duty circuits, derate per the AC-15 or DC-13 curves the SIRIUS manual provides. The 6 kV surge voltage resistance means the contactor withstands transient overvoltages common in industrial control panels without flashover — important when switching coils or solenoids on the same bus. The IP20 front protection is standard for enclosed panel gear; it prevents finger contact but is not rated for washdown environments.
This flexibility simplifies panel layout when space is tight. It handles 10g / 5 ms and 5g / 10 ms shock — sufficient for machine-mounted applications near presses or conveyors.
The screw terminals accept solid conductors: 2x 0.5 to 1.5 mm², 2x 0.75 to 2.5 mm², and 2x 4 mm². This covers standard control wiring from signal-level pairs up to power-feed runs for auxiliary circuits.
