The Siemens 3RH1344-2CP00-0KA0-ZX95 is a SIRIUS auxiliary contactor in the S00 frame size, carrying four normally-open instantaneous contacts. It's built for control-circuit switching inside motor starter assemblies or as a signal repeater in larger panels. The 10 A rating at 24 V covers most PLC-level loads; at 230 V it still handles 6 A, and at 690 V it's good for 1 A. That derating curve is what you'd expect from a contactor this size — the AC-15/DC-13 application matters more than the raw number.
Mounting and integration
Screw and snap-on mounting onto DIN rail — the 45 mm width means it takes up a single modular device slot. The S00 footprint is standard across the SIRIUS contactor range, so it shares the same panel layout as the 3RT2 contactors. Mounting position is flexible: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, plus ±22.5° tilt forward/backward. That's useful when you're squeezing it into a tight sub-panel or orienting it for wireway access.
Contact reliability and surge suppression
Contact reliability is spec'd at one incorrect switching operation per 100 million cycles at 17 V, 1 mA — that's the low-energy dry circuit case where oxide films matter. If you're switching PLC inputs or logic-level signals, this contactor won't give you intermittent opens. The built-in varistor surge suppressor across the coil handles the inductive kickback; no external diode or RC snubber needed for standard AC coils. IP20 on the front keeps fingers out; pollution degree 3 means it's rated for conductive environments inside the panel.
Environmental and mechanical
Operates from -25 to +60 °C, stores and ships from -55 to +80 °C. Shock resistance is 10 g at 5 ms and 5 g at 10 ms — adequate for most industrial machinery but not rated for sustained vibration near a crusher or press. Wire termination accepts 0.25 to 2.5 mm² solid or stranded; the 114 mm depth leaves room for the wire bend radius inside a standard 200 mm deep enclosure.
