What it is and what it fits
The Siemens 3RH1362-1UB40-0KV0-ZX95 is a SIRIUS auxiliary contactor, size S00, designed for switching control and signal circuits in motor starter and control panel applications. It carries a 24 V DC coil, with a closing and holding power of 3.2 W — a steady-state draw that a standard 24 V DC power supply handles without issue. The contactor mounts via screw or snap-on onto a DIN rail, and the IP20 front protection means it's suited for enclosed panel use where no washdown or dust ingress is expected.
Terminal capacity and contact configuration
The terminal block accepts solid conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), and 2x 4 mm². That covers most control wiring gauges you'd run in a panel — no need for ferrule adapters on the 4 mm² runs. The contact arrangement provides 6 instantaneous contacts (NO/NC configurable per the base device), with no leading, lagging, delayed, or make-before-break switching options on this variant. For a straightforward interlock or feedback circuit, that's sufficient; if you need sequenced contact timing, you'd look at the optional auxiliary switch block (not included here).
Environmental and mechanical limits
Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C; storage and transport range is -55 to +80 °C. Shock resistance is rated at 10g for 5 ms and 5g for 10 ms.
