Contact ratings and what they mean for your circuit
The 3RH1911-1FB22-ZX95: The contacts are rated for AC-15 duty at 690 V at 1 A, and the surge voltage resistance is 6 kV, so this block is suitable for switching control-circuit loads like contactor coils and pilot devices in industrial panels. The 10 A maximum rating applies across the block; individual contact ratings vary by voltage: 6 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. For DC switching, the ratings are 10 A at 24 V, 4.7 A at 60 V, 3 A at 110 V, 1.2 A at 220 V, 0.5 A at 440 V, and 0.26 A at 600 V. The contact reliability is specified at one faulty switching per 100 million operations at 17 V and 5 mA, and the mechanical service life is 10 million switching cycles typical.
Lifecycle reality: phased out, successor available
The 3RH1911-1FB22-ZX95 is a phased-out product. Siemens lists the SIRIUS 3RH2 series as the direct successor. For existing panels that already use this block, sourcing through independent distribution remains possible; availability and current pricing are confirmed at quote time against an RFQ.
Mounting and integration details
The block snaps onto the front of SIRIUS contactor relays and power contactors (size S00). Dimensions are 41.5 mm deep, 36.5 mm wide, and 37.5 mm high. The screw terminals accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) conductors with core end processing, or 2x (20 to 16) or 2x (18 to 14) AWG. The front face is rated IP20, so it is suitable for enclosed panel use. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C.
