Auxiliary contactor for SIRIUS S00 contactor systems
The Siemens 3RH2122-1BW40-0AA6 is a SIRIUS auxiliary contactor in size S00, carrying 2 normally-open instantaneous contacts. It is designed to mount alongside the main contactor on a 35 mm DIN rail using either screw fixing or the integrated snap-on clip. The coil is rated for 48 VDC with a closing and holding power of 4 W.
Switching capacity and contact ratings
The instantaneous contacts are rated for 10 A at 24 V and 230 V, 4.7 A at 60 V, 3 A at 110 V and 400 V, 1.2 A at 220 V, 0.5 A at 440 V, 2 A at 500 V, 0.26 A at 600 V, and 1 A at 690 V. The arcing time is 10 to 15 ms. These ratings define the maximum switching current at each voltage level for resistive or lightly inductive loads.
Mounting and integration
Mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail via screw fixing or snap-on clip. The mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface and +/-22.5° tilt forward/backward. Minimum clearances: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 6 mm at the side. Accepts 2 conductors per terminal: 0.5 to 1.5 mm², 0.75 to 2.5 mm², or 2x 4 mm² solid or stranded.
