SIRIUS auxiliary contactor, size S00 — 3 NO, 24 VDC coil
The Siemens 3RH2131-1BB40-ZW97 is a SIRIUS auxiliary contactor in size S00, carrying three normally-open instantaneous contacts rated 10 A at 24 V. The coil pulls in and holds at 4 W DC, making it a straight drop for a 24 VDC control circuit on a panel-builder's BOM. Screw terminals accept 2x 0.5 to 2.5 mm² or a single 4 mm² conductor; the contactor snaps onto standard 35 mm DIN rail or mounts with screws.
Mounting and integration
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail via the integrated snap-on latch, or with screws through the base. The mounting position is flexible: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, plus ±22.5° tilt forward or backward. Clearance requirements are 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 6 mm at the sides — tight enough for dense S00 contactor arrays in a control panel.
Ratings and operating conditions
Rated insulation voltage covers 690 V, with a pollution degree of 3 for industrial environments. The contactor switches AC loads up to 10 000 operations per hour; arcing time runs 10 to 15 ms, and DC switching times fall between 7 and 13 ms. Operating temperature spans -25 to +60 °C, storage from -55 to +80 °C. Relative humidity minimum is 10 %.
