Panel integration: DIN-rail fit and contact layout
The contacts switch DC loads across a range: 10 A at 24 V, 4.7 A at 60 V, 3 A at 110 V, 1.2 A at 220 V, and 0.5 A at 440 V.
Switching DC loads: what the voltage-specific ratings mean
Unlike AC-rated contacts that carry a single current across a voltage band, DC switching is voltage-sensitive because of arc extinction. The 3RH2131-2BG40 gives separate current limits per DC voltage level: 10 A at 24 V, 4.7 A at 60 V, 3 A at 110 V, 1.2 A at 220 V, and 0.5 A at 440 V. At 600 V DC it handles 0.26 A. These are the maximums — derate for inductive loads or high switching frequency. The arcing time is 10 to 15 ms, and the mechanical life is typical 30,000,000 operations. For a 24 V DC control circuit, the 10 A rating gives ample headroom for multiple pilot devices or relay coils in parallel.
