It's the part you add to a main contactor to get extra auxiliary contacts for status feedback, interlocks, or PLC inputs — not a main power switching device. That matters when you're shoehorning it into an existing panel and the rail isn't perfectly oriented.
For higher voltages the current drops off: 4.7 A at 60 V, 3 A at 110 V, 1.2 A at 220 V, and down to 0.26 A at 600 V. If you're switching a 24 VDC PLC output or a relay coil, the 10 A rating gives comfortable margin. For a 230 VAC pilot light, the 10 A at 230 V rating (AC) still covers it easily. Arcing time is 10-15 ms AC, so the contacts clear fast.
Dimensions: 45 mm wide, 70 mm high, 73 mm deep. That's fine for 1.5 mm² or 2.5 mm² control wiring; if you're paralleling two wires into one terminal (for daisy-chaining), the 4 mm² max per conductor is generous enough for most control circuits.
RoHS compliance date is October 1, 2009, so it's RoHS-compliant for the EU market. No UL or CSA mark is listed in the spec sheet, but the SIRIUS line typically carries those approvals — verify for your specific jurisdiction if UL listing is mandatory.
