The 3RH2140-2JB40 mounts via screw and snap-on onto a 35 mm standard mounting rail, fitting into the S00 contactor footprint — 45 mm wide, 73 mm deep, 70 mm tall.
The 4 NO contacts are rated for switching at multiple voltage levels: 10 A at 24 V and 230 V, 4.7 A at 60 V, 3 A at 110 V and 400 V, 1.2 A at 220 V, 0.5 A at 440 V, 0.26 A at 600 V, and 1 A at 690 V (–). These are the thermal current ratings (Ith) for the contact set — so at 24 VDC you can switch a 10 A resistive load, but at 600 V the same contacts are limited to 0.26 A. For DC switching, the arcing time runs 10–15 ms and the operating time at DC is 38–65 ms, which matters when coordinating with downstream devices in a safety circuit or sequence. The coil draws 2.8 W at DC closure and includes a built-in diode suppressor — that means you don't need an external flyback diode across the coil, saving a component and a wiring step. The closing power of 2.8 W is modest, so the relay can be driven by a standard PLC digital output or a small control transformer.
