The 3RH2140-2KF40: These are the currents the contacts can break — match them to your PLC output or relay load before committing the BOM line. The arcing time of 10–15 ms and DC switching time of 7–20 ms define the contact gap needed for DC arc extinction — inductive loads will arc longer, so derate further for solenoids or brake coils.
Coil and environmental specs
110 V DC coil with integrated suppressor diode — the diode clamps the flyback voltage when the coil de-energizes, which protects nearby PLC outputs and 24 V DC supplies from voltage spikes. Coil closing power is 2.8 W DC, steady-state holding power is lower. This covers most industrial control panels without derating, but condensation inside unheated enclosures is the real limit.
