The 3RH2244-4BW40 is a SIRIUS auxiliary contactor in size S00 — the smallest SIRIUS frame, which keeps the panel footprint tight at 45 mm wide by 57.5 mm tall by 117 mm deep. Four normally-open instantaneous contacts give you four independent signal paths that close when the coil picks up. No auxiliary switch block to add — the 4 NO is integral, so the depth stays at 117 mm without a bolt-on extension. Rated control supply voltage is 48 VDC. The coil draws 4 W closing and 4 W holding — a constant-grip DC magnet, not a pulsed economy coil, so the holding power is the same as the pick-up power. Budget the 4 W continuous dissipation in the enclosure thermal calculation.
The contact rating is 10 A at 24 V, which is the highest current on the DC rating table. At 60 V it drops to 4.7 A, at 110 V to 3 A, and at 220 V to 1.2 A. For AC utilization at 230 V the contacts carry 6 A, and at 400 V they carry 3 A.
Mounting, clearance, and environmental limits
These are the free-air spacing requirements for heat dissipation and arc clearance — pack tighter and you risk nuisance tripping or reduced contact life. Pollution degree 3 means it is rated for conductive pollution environments typical of industrial control panels — no additional conformal coating required for normal factory atmospheres.
