Rated for AC control voltage, it switches loads across a wide voltage band: 6 A at 24 V, 230 V, and 400 V; 1 A at 110 V and 690 V; and 0.3 A at 220 V. The 690 V rating with 1 A makes it usable in 480 V panels for signal-level isolation without derating to a lower current class.
The S00 footprint — 45 mm wide, 72 mm deep, 57.5 mm tall — fits tightly in crowded enclosures; the 45 mm width matches a single 1.75-inch module pitch, so it occupies one position on a standard DIN-rail panel. This matters when you're squeezing it into a gland-plate area or a swing-frame panel where the rail isn't perfectly plumb. Screw-type terminals on the auxiliary and control circuit accept 2 × (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2 × (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or 2 × 4 mm² solid or stranded wire. Finely stranded with ferrule is also supported at the same cross-sections.
Coil draw and thermal limits
The AC coil draws 27 VA inrush (pick-up) and 5.4 VA holding. The inductive power factor is 0.8 during pick-up and 0.27 during holding — the holding PF is low, so the steady-state VA is mostly reactive; a control transformer supplying multiple contactors should be sized for the sum of pick-up VA, not holding VA. Installation altitude is limited to 2 000 m above sea level without derating. Surge voltage resistance is rated at 10 kV, and insulation voltage at pollution degree 3 is 690 V AC — sufficient for 480 V line-to-line systems with a safety margin. Shock resistance: 15g / 5 ms and 8g / 10 ms sine pulse; 10g / 5 ms and 5g / 10 ms rectangular impulse. Maximum operating frequency at DC-13 load is 1 000 operations per hour — fine for most signal switching but not for high-speed counting applications.
