AS-i Slave with 4 PNP Outputs for Control Cabinets
The 3RK1100-1CG00-0AA2 is a standard AS-Interface slave module providing 4 solid-state PNP digital outputs. It is part of the SlimLine S22.5 family, designed for 22.5 mm wide DIN-rail mounting in IP20 control cabinets. Each output channel is addressed individually via the front addressing socket, with yellow LEDs per channel for I/O status indication. The module also carries a green AS-Interface LED and a red fault LED. A built-in watchdog, short-circuit protection, induction protection, and output polarity reversal protection are included on the output side. The aggregate output current is limited to 2 A across all four channels.
Power Supply and Wiring Constraints
An external auxiliary power supply (AUX POWER) of 20 to 30 V DC is mandatory for the output circuits, and must comply with VDE 0106 (PELV) protection class III. The output power is supplied via terminals 7 (L+) and 10 (M). The AS-Interface bus itself supplies the module electronics, drawing a maximum of 40 mA from the bus. The output voltage at 24 V DC is specified as 22 to 24 V. Terminal wiring accepts 2 x (0.25 - 1.5) mm² solid or stranded, or 2 x (0.25 - 1) mm² with end sleeves; AWG 24-16 solid or stranded is also supported. Mounting and Environmental Ratings
The module snaps onto 35 mm standard DIN rail or can be wall-mounted using the push-in lugs. Dimensions are 22.5 mm wide, 86 mm deep, and 103 mm tall. Operating temperature range is -25 to +70 °C, with storage from -40 to +85 °C. The IP20 rating means it is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5 mm but not against water ingress — suitable for dry indoor cabinet environments.
